I'm trying to convert an English IAT into a Mandarin Chinese IAT, but I've never used a non-English alphabet on any computer application before, much less Inquisit.

Does anyone know how to do this (preferably other than converting each piece of Mandarin text into an image file)?

I currently have a PowerPoint file with the Mandarin character translations in a font called "PMingLiU".

I just dealt wit this recently. Obviously, you would have to have East Asian fonts installed in your operating system. Once you have done that, just use the Font Wizard from the Tools menu and select the particular East Asian font you want to use when setting the type of font for the text elements.
