Hi there,

julielee:
It seems that this doesn't work.

Is this true for every script you're running? Or is it a particular one? Also: Which version of Inquisit are you using?

julielee:
And I cannot quit after I run an experiment.

If '/ endlock = true' in the respective script, you can quit by pressing 'Ctrl+End'. Or you can change to '/ endlock = false'.

Let me know if that helps,

Hi Dave:

Thank you for your help.

I am writing a dot-probe task. This is the first time I use Inquisit so... this is only the case for this script.

I downloaded the latest version of Inquisit.

I didn't write "endlock"... Just very simple sentences.

So could you help me?

Thanks for the info. Can you attach the script to this thread? When you post a reply, go to the 'Options' tab to find controls for uploading. If your script uses pictures, etc. it would be nice if you could put everything in a single zip-file to upload.

Dave~

Thank you so much.

In the script there are some characters which are not English.  Just ignore. They are instructions.

And in the script I wrote "fruit, furniture, sugar, vegetable". This was my first version of pictures. Later I changed pictures but didn't change names... So just ignore.

I appreciate your time and patience.

Oh by the way:

The task: when you see a square, press a. / a circle, press l.

Hi Julie,

thank you for providing the script. I've run it several times here on my system (using both Inquisit 3.0.4.0 and 3.0.5.0 beta) and Ctrl+Q, Ctrl+B, etc. hotkeys are working properly here. If the issue you're seeing was locale-related -- due to a different keyboard layout (e.g. asian) -- it should happen with other scripts too, which you say isn't the case. Maybe I'm missing some step to reproduce the problem. Can you describe the circumstances of the issue in some greater detail?

Thanks,

~Dave
