integrate 2 questionnaires with a query parameter

Dear,

I was trying to create 1 integrated questionnaire with 2 programs: qualtrics and inquisit. At the end of the qualtrics questionnaire, participants should be directed automatically to the inquisit experiment. A colleague of mine has done this before and this worked just fine when he indicated 'query parameter' as the way to choose how subject numbers should be generated. Then I just entered 'subjectnumber' as the name of the query parameter. However, with these settings the experiment does not run when I click on the link. Every time I get the notice "undefined". When I indicate to randomly generate subjectnumbers, the link and the script works just fine.

Does anyone has a suggestion on how to address this problem?

Maybe you can find some helpful pieces of information in this thread: http://www.millisecond.com/community/forums/p/1160/3369.aspx.

I have looked at the Inquisit help file. The problem, however, is not how to direct a participant from a qualtrics questionnaire to an inquisit questionnaire. The problem is that the inquisit questionnaire does not work anymore once I indicate a query parameter as a way to generate a subject ID (in the way as it is instructed in the inquisit help file). My script works fine, both when I run it offline and online (with a random generation of a subject ID). Only when I assign a query parameter, then I can only get to the launch paige. Whenever I click the 'start' button, I get the message 'undefined'. But I have no clue what goes wrong.

Any suggestions on how to save this problem?

AFAIK, this happens when Inquisit can't find the specified query parameter. I'd recommend you double-check that you have indeed specified the correct name for the query parameter as forwarded by Qualtrics and also make sure it's spelt correctly.

Best wishes from a fellow Inquisit user,

~Dave
