Hi Everyone,

I am trying to script a fairly straightforward task but given my limited programming skills, I wonder if anyone has a template I could adapt to speed things up.

I want to present a series of stimuli (there will be pictures, sounds and video clips in different versions of the task). Four words will be presented with each stimulus, one of which correctly descibes the stimulus. Participants have to identify the correct word with the number 1,2,3 or 4 keys on the keyboard. Stimuli/response options will be presented in random order. I want to record the correct/incorrect responses and response times.

Any help will be gratefully received.

Best regards,

David Markland

Here's a quickly hacked up template (attached). This one uses mouse input, 'cause that's a tad easier to do. It should still be useful, i.e. it should give you a basic idea on how to approach this particular type of task.

Best wishes from a fellow Inquisit user,
