Is there a way to log the gender of the participant after the subject #?

As long as you have a trial or survey question to collect this info, it will show up in the datafile. I might be missing your point, though... Can you be a tad more specific?

Right, you would include the gender question in your script in the same fashion as you would other questions. The survey features are probably the best way to do this - see the demographics suryey sample on our web site for an example - it includes this question. You can also do this using a <trail> element.
