BACKGROUND INFO

											*Purpose*
This script implements the (US English Version) of World Health Organization Quality of Life scale 
(an abbreviated generic Quality of Life Scale developed through the World Health Organization)

the instrument (US English Version) can be downloaded from:
http://depts.washington.edu/seaqol/WHOQOL-BREF

											  *Task*
self-administered questionnaire with 26 5-point Likert questions											  


DATA FILE INFORMATION: 
The default data stored in the data files are:

(1) Raw data file: 'WHOQOL_BREF.iqdat'

date, time, group, subject:		date and time script was run with the current group/subjectnumber 
build:							the Inquisit build 

q*_response:					response given (in assigned values) (Note: reversed scored questions are automatically reversed scored)
q*_latency:						how much time (in ms) the participant spent on the surveypage with this particular question (the last time this particular surveypage was visited)


(2) Summary data file: 'WHOQOL_BREF_summary.iqdat' (Inquisit Lab: one data file per participant)

script.starttime:				time script was started
script.subjectid:				subject id number
script.groupid:					group id number
script.elapsedtime:				time it took to run script (in ms)
computer.platform:				the platform the script was run on
/completed:						0 = script was not completed (prematurely aborted); 1 = script was completed (all conditions run)

Raw Scores:
/Domain1_raw:					calculates the raw score for Domain1 by adding the responses to the Domain 1 questions
								(reversed items are automatically reversed scored)
								if 1 item is missing: the score gets replaced with the mean of the remaining 6 scores
								if more than 1 item is missing: no raw score is calculated

/Domain2_raw:					calculates the raw score for Domain2 by adding the responses to the Domain 2 questions
								(reversed items are automatically reversed scored)
								No raw score is calculated if not all questions are answered
							
/Domain3_raw:					calculates the raw score for Domain3 by adding the responses to the Domain 3 questions
								(reversed items are automatically reversed scored)
								No raw score is calculated if not all questions are answered
							
/Domain4_raw:					calculates the raw score for Domain4 by adding the responses to the Domain 4 questions
								(reversed items are automatically reversed scored)
								if 1 item is missing: the score gets replaced with the mean of the remaining 7 scores
								if more than 1 item is missing: no raw score is calculated

/Domain1_TS20:				transformed score for Domain 1 on the scale 4-20
/Domain2_TS20 :				transformed score for Domain 2 on the scale 4-20
/Domain3_TS20:				transformed score for Domain 3 on the scale 4-20	
/Domain4_TS20:				transformed score for Domain 4 on the scale 4-20
	
/Domain1_TS100:				transformed score for Domain 1 on the scale 0-100
/Domain2_TS100:				transformed score for Domain 2 on the scale 0-100

Please keep in mind your standards, hopes, pleasures and concerns. We ask that you think about your life in the last
two* weeks."
