Inquisit 3 Desktop Edition is both a tool for designing, testing, and demonstrating experiments as well as an
engine for running experiments for the purpose of collecting data. The desktop edition is designed for research labs
in which experiments are conducted on laboratory or classroom computers. However, even if you will be gathering
data over the internet using Inquisit 3 Web Edition, you'll need at least one copy of the desktop edition in order
to create and test your experiment scripts.
