In some cases, Inquisit 3 Web Edition will be listed among the installed programs on your computer, and if you try to uninstall it, the uninstall fails. The reason
for this is a bug in Java, which is used to install Inquisit in some cases. To remove Inquisit, you can run our clean up utility program or perform the steps manually.
-
Click this link to download the utility
- Run the utility
- Reopen the Windows Programs applet - "Inquisit 3 Web Edition" should be removed from the installed programs list
- Go to Windows Control Panel, and open the Java applet
- Click the "View…" button in the Temporary Internet Files section
- You should see Inquisit listed there – select it and press the red X button to delete it from your computer. Having done this, all Inquisit files are removed
