Hi,

I'm trying to program an experiment for an EEG experiment. Therefore, it's crucial that participants maintain their gaze on a fixation cross and avoid it from flickering. However, regardless of timing, there continues to be a short dark screen between trial. Is there any way to circumvent this problem? (I'm considering just putting a fixation cross on the screen with stickers..)

best,
Gaetan

You need to set the fixation cross <text> element's /erase attribute attribute to false. For details see the "How to erase stimuli" topic in the Inquisit documentation.
