Hi,

Are there any known issues with running Inquisit 2 scripts on the web in Windows 7? A couple of my students have had problems and crashes. (One was using Firefox, the other Chrome. Both had full admin privileges on their computers.)

Thanks!

Eric

AFAIK, Inquisit 2 has not been tested under Windows 7 (i.e. Win7 is not officially supported), so there might be incompatibilities. Also see: http://www.millisecond.com/forums/Topic4124.aspx.

Hi Eric,

Vista was the last operating system with which we tested Inquisit 2, and we don't have plans to make any more updates to that codebase. Inquisit 3, on the other hand, has been tested with Windows 7 and it runs just fine.

I had an additional thought on this. If you have access to the computers where the crash is happening, make sure you've got the latest graphics driver installed. This could be just a regular old driver issue that isn't specific to Windows 7.

Windows 7 overlaps quite a bit with Vista, so I'd actually be a bit surprised if it introduced compatibility issues.
