Hi all, After uploading all of my files and testing my IAT experiment on InquisitWeb I came across a http 403 error where Inquisit won't open the htm file that I uploaded with the script. (Uploaded a picture of the error log below...)  From a quick google search it seems http 403 error has to do with permissions where the server understands the request but isn't "authorized" to open the file? Anybody have any ideas on how I can "authorize" Inquisit to open my htm instructions page? This seems odd to me as I am using the introduction .htm page that came with one of the IAT templates, I ran it and it worked perfectly back then.

No problems at all. That was very odd... maybe the server hadn't finished uploading the file or something? It can take a short time from the time of upload through the web interface for the file to be transferred to the S3 storage space and its permissions to propagate. Usually that would be only a few seconds, but depending on overall load at a given time it could take a little longer in isolated instances.

I am getting the same 403 error for loading and opening the script. It also keeps prompting me to download the plugin every time, even though it is installed on my computer. I turned off ad blocker and tried different browsers, so I'm not sure what else to do. Link below: Thanks for any insights! Kelly

I assume you may have mistakenly deleted it while making revisions and didn't (fully) upload the revised script. That's the reason you're seeing errors. Please enter your web experiment's settings via your account, go to the 2nd "Upload Files" step and make sure the script as well as all files (images, etc.) it requires have been uploaded. Once you've uploaded any missing ones, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to commit the changes. After that you can close the settings and things should work. If you're having trouble with the above, feel free to attach the files here and I can upload them on your behalf.

As for the repeated downloads: I'm not immediately able to reproduce that. What browser are you using, if I may ask? If Chrome, did you -- per chance -- check the "Remember my choice for all links of this type" checkbox in Chrome's ""External Protocol Request" prompt? If so, some (but not all, oddly enough) Chrome installations behave weirdly when that is the case. I can share directions on how to reverse that setting if need be. Thanks!
