I'm having an issue where certain stimuli aren't appearing if my experiment is run on an Apple machine, but is if run on Windows.

Specifically, in the experiment, for two of the task conditions, some coloured circles appear and are then followed by one or two black arrows. On Windows machines it appears to work. On Apple machines the arrows do not show up subsequent to the presentation of the circles (although they do show up on the trial type where the circles and arrows are displayed at the same time). Specifically, there is supposed to be a 250ms circle display, then a 100ms gap, then a 250ms display of the black arrows.

In terms of Windows machines it is working on, I've tried: ThinkPad Carbon X1 running Windows 10; Dell XPS running Windows 10. It worked fine on both.
In terms of Apple machines it is *not* working on, I've tried: MacbookPro 2016, unspecified other Macbook

Link to the task: https://mili2nd.co/t3tb
Link to the code: https://github.com/ArielZJ/SimilarityColorProject-MultiplePatches/tree/3/6stim-2compare-mixed

I've only got N of 2 for both groups, so I can't guarantee this is the exact issue, but it seems to be holding up so far.
Any help in answering why it is not working would be greatly appreciated!

Weirdly, an older version of the task with the same cueing setup works just fine on a MacbookPro

I have no idea why the cues would be disrupted on a Macbook using the new task but not the old given the cueing code is essentially identical.
