Can Inquisit lab, instead of Inquisit web, work on an iPad? If not, are there other tablets it will work on? Thanks!

Inquisit Lab is available for Windows and MacOS, it is not available for iPads. You can install and use Inquisit Lab on e.g. Microsoft Surface Pro tablets.

However, note that you can use Inquisit Web's offline mode to collect data on iPads or Android tablets when no persistent internet connection is available:
