Description

subtest5: AFFECT DISCRIMINATION

Participants are presented one face at a time (6 altogether) and have to identify the emotion of the face (i.e., Happy, Sad, Angry, frightened, Surprised, Disgusted, or Neutral)

Procedure

1 Testblock of 12 trials
- 6 trials with emotions: happy, sad, angry, frightenend, surprised, disgusted (no neutral face presented)
The order of the images is predetermined.

Participants can select from 7 emotion buttons. Responses can be changed until 'next' is pressed.
If button 'repeat' is pressed, nothing happens in this script as the images are still on screen.

By setting parameters.showadvanceButton to true, a '?'-button appears in the upper right corner.
If pressed, the next scheduled test item is skipped.
