This script demonstrates a task in which subjects attempt to identify words presented peripherally as they stare at a fixation point in the center of the screen. The eye tracker is used to ensure subjects are looking at the fixation point for 250ms when the target word is presented.

Participants are presented subliminal words for 1 vertical refreshate (~17ms on 60Hz monitor) and are asked to type them into a textbox.
1 Block of 50 trials:
a) Fixation Point for at least 250ms (once participants focus on fixation point after 250ms, the trial continues)
b) Word Presentation for 1 vertical refreshrate (on 60Hz monitor: ~17ms); then openended textbox
